Stephen Curry and The Father Dell
Let me say something 1st off the bat, I may hate the usual dominate teams like the Yankees, Red Sox, Cowboys, Duke etc…but dammit I LOVE to see someone do something GREAT. Its even better when it comes virtually out of nowhere. Thats where we are as fans watching this kid Stephen Curry right now and that one thing he does GREATER than anyone in College Basketball today is SCORE!!!!!
How can you NOT enjoy this??? I mean REALLY!?!!? In the last 2 games vs NC State and West Virginia, he took OVER the games late and made big shot after big shot to pull of 2 huge victories for the formerly unknown school in North Carolina. I mean who had heard of Davidson until a young frosh almost singlehandedly defeated Maryland in the 2007 NCAA Tourney with a 3 point barrage that had all Terp Fans pissing in their proverbial pants.
I dont really give a rats ass about what he cant do…right now, what he CAN do is SHOOT BETTER, SCORE BETTER, than any player in the game today. And so what he shoots more than the average player? I dont want any other player on that team shooting when the game matters anyway…he’s the reason we are watching them (and yes, we ARE watching) and the reason that they are now America’s Team.
